Who we are, and what these cover

This website is operated by Tech Machers Consulting Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company incorporated in India with its registered office at Karaikal, Puducherry, India. By using specibo.com you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

These terms cover use of this website only. They are not the terms on which Specibo software is licensed or provided as a service — that is a separate written agreement between Specibo and the customer institution, and it is the document that governs any deployment, service level or data processing obligation.

Information on this site

Product information is provided for general guidance. Capabilities described here may vary by release and by deployment. Nothing on this site is a warranty, a specification, or an offer capable of acceptance.

Specibo is built on a proven open-source biobanking core and includes third-party open-source components. The applicable notices and licences are reproduced at specibo.com/licences and ship with the product.

No clinical or regulatory advice

Nothing on this site is clinical, legal or regulatory advice. References to regulatory frameworks describe what the product is designed to support. They are not a certification, an accreditation, or a representation that any particular deployment meets a given obligation — that depends on how the customer configures and operates it, and remains the customer's responsibility.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt this site, gain unauthorised access to it, or use it unlawfully. Please do not submit personal data about third parties, and in particular do not submit participant or patient data, through any form here.

Intellectual property

The Specibo™ name, the Specibo logo and the content of this site are owned by Tech Machers Consulting Pvt Ltd unless stated otherwise, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may read, quote and link to this site; you may not copy its content wholesale, or use our name or logo to suggest endorsement or affiliation, without our written permission.

Specibo is an unregistered trade mark. It is used with ™, never with ®, because no registration has yet issued.

Third-party names and marks referred to on this site belong to their respective owners, and their use here is factual reference, not a claim of endorsement or affiliation — see specibo.com/licences.

Links to other sites

Where we link to a site we do not control, we do so for convenience. We are not responsible for its content, and a link is not an endorsement.

Availability, and the limits of our liability

This site is provided free of charge and as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw any part of it at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings or data, arising from your use of this site. Our total liability for all other claims arising from your use of this site is limited to INR 5,000.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Nothing here affects your rights under applicable consumer protection law.

These limits apply to this website. They do not apply to any separate written agreement for Specibo software or services — that agreement carries its own, negotiated liability terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version and date at the top of this page always show which version is current, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site, are governed by the laws of India, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Karaikal, Puducherry, where we are registered.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
